Jodi Arias trial: Jury selection begins, live video coverage delayed (Twitter updates, Trial Videos)

On Sept. 29, 2014, Jodi Arias will return to a Phoenix, Arizona courtroom where she will resume the sentencing portion of her murder trial. Arias' fist trial resulted in a deadlock, as the jurors could not determine whether to put Arias to death after finding her guilty of the murder of Travis Alexander on May 23, 2013.

Arias' first trial was televised live and was watched nationwide. The media frenzy resulted in witnesses receiving death threats and some witnesses too afraid to testify in the trial. Due to those issues, Judge Sherry Stephens has ruled that the trial will be videotaped; however, the trial's footage will not be made public until the sentencing verdict is rendered. The trial is expected to run until mid-to late December.
